A perfect overnight stay
Pros: The staff were so friendly. A special mention to Murray who was so welcoming. The evening meal and breakfast were exceptional. The location within Cheddar was superb. One of our favourite overnight stays while on walkabout. Cons: Nothing. 10/10.
Brilliant
Pros: A great welcome and staff were friendly throughout our stay. Food was great especially the eton mess. Room and bathroom were spacious, very clean and well decorated. Complimentary Soaps, shampoos and lotions, as well as tea, coffee, nuts and sweets. Only a 10 minute walk to the main tourist area. Cons: Having to leave.
Location was beautiful
Location was beautiful. Breakfast included in the price is a fresh cooked breakfast rather than purely continental. Staff were very friendly.
Good hotel and great staff
Pros: Staff were excellent and the rooms were nice. We stayed during the heatwave so it was hot in the room but there was a fan provided so sleeping was fine. We were also given bottles of water on our departure, a thoughtful touch. Lovely breakfast and complementary snacks in the room. Room was also spacious. Great location. Cons: Our room was at the front which was a bit noisy (windows open) with people outside and traffic but the noise died down at a reasonable hour.
Great location, staff, breakfast and value when all considered
Pros: The staff were attentive and helpful throughout and did there best when dealing with an issue or when providing information. Breakfast was great, although x2 items I didn't want on the plate were. Location, excellent. Cons: The heat in the room given the external temp was only 24/25, was extreme and the fan provided not fit for any purpose. Was replaced but seen better days. The room was very clean but the room needed a freshen up. The toilet seat beyond appealing and need replacing. The wifi was down and after convincing the team that I was correct and can connect to WiFi via devices, t
