The Belmont

Very enjoyable stay, see you again next year.

Pros: Linda and Des are great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the bar for a drink in the evenings and the superb breakfasts. Such a choice to be had but between us I think we tried just about everything. The hotel was spotlessly clean as was our room with crisp bed linen, white fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Particularly enjoyed having BBC i player to catch up on a couple of programmes that we'd missed. Cons: Room was quite warm with the afternoon sun but we always kept the curtains drawn and that seemed to solv

Would we go again to the Belmont? Yes most definitely!

Lovely place to stay

Pros: The hosts were very welcoming & the place was lovely and clean. The 1st room was a little small, but we were given another room, which was much larger and more spacious. The pool was a great touch, especially in this heatwave. Cons: I realize that the place is an older property but could use a little air conditioning, but as above, it was exceptionally hot the week we stayed.

Brilliant stay! Lovely atmosphere and the pool was great! Linda and Des were really lovely hosts!

Ok for one or two nights

Pros: Close to beach. Pool attractive and clean Cons: Duvet far too hot in warm weather. A top sheet would have been much better. Water pressure low in shower.
