A great reception when checking in but downhill from there. Apart from reception the staff attention to residents is shocking. The room was poorly prepared, signage said do not drink the water, water is provided, we are still waiting! Dinner in the bar was a joke, staff pay no attention and when the food eventually arrives it is cold. We will not be back.
It was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Food options in the hotel limited and served a chicken and vegetable soup to a vegetarian (requested vegetable soup).
The staff was unfriendly. There are no family dining options. There are no amenities in the room. The room was very hot and we couldn't sleep.
This hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS! Every detail is solidly and thoughtfully constructed, from the chair rail lining the hallway to the sliding bathroom door. But form without function is of little value, and the staff brings the function in spades. Everyone we met went out of their way to answer our questions. Special shout out to Reginald at the concierge desk-he was kind, knowledgeable and generous with his time and helped us to book an amazing outing! It was a beautiful location and the stay was comfortable. The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a lot of variety.
