Nice Hotel but needs a few issues addressed.

Pros: Great food friendly staff, super comfy bed and nice room Cons: Didn't like dogs on the sofas in the bar area. On our first night I couldn't believe there were 2 dogs on the the sofa owner no where to be seen Second night another dog on same sofa walking up and down licking the sofa as found the scent of previous dogs. I'm a dog lover but this is just not right, just down right dirty. On our first night we were shown to our table which I was not happy with and pointed to the table that I prefered, I was told that table has been booked even though it wasn't made up. Pros: Restaurant and helpful staff Cons: Room 10 has a step up and low ceiling which i tripped up as its not easily seen and bumped my head!

Pros: Staff were lovely, food was excellent Cons: The room was cold - I asked for heating, and subsequently heard rumblings in the pipes in the room, but it didn't make it warmer! The heated towel rail didn't work The main light switch by the bed didn't work. There was dirt/mould in the bathroom, on the skirting boards by the shower.

Location is 10 min bus direct from NEC to hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Room cosy and warm. Bed comfy and staff friendly

Lovely second stay at this hotel

Pros: Breakfast was excellent value and quality. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, modern and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Overall for the close proximity to the NEC this offers excellent value for money in comparison to others Cons: Parking is run by a private company which was a bit of a faff as we couldn't get it to extend our parking for the second day but the hotel sorted this for us
