Cheap getaway for a short break

Pros: Room conveniently connected to bus route as we came by train. One parking space if needed. Comfortable bed. Use of communal kitchen, dinning and sitting room. Nice to have a ground floor room but could hear everything from room above, and they weren't particularly noisy but v squeaky floors. Not a complaint but might be disturbing if you are a light sleeper. Cons: Curtains need more hooks as hanging down, mould on bathroom ceiling. Walls are very thin and noise from other guests.

Pros: Older house, older furnishings, busy street. Cons: AVOID THIS PLACE. The rooms are bed bugged, moist and dusty, sagging mattresses, leaking shower enclosure and as a bonus you will hear absolutely everything from the adjacent rooms. The staff is very rude - when I reported the bed bugs on their customer service line, the woman instantly started yelling at me that it was impossible, claiming the rooms had recently been treated for pests. After that they completely ignored me for a day and a half, only to tell me late in the evening on the very last day (literally just 10 hours before che

It was a bed for the night to save early travel the following day. There is a communal area but I didnt use that do can't really comment on that. The room itself waa a good size but no facilities outside of a bed and a toilet/shower room. The soft furnishings were old and worn.

I had a very good experience renting this room. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Everything was well organised, and I felt welcome and comfortable during my stay.

Pros: Provided water, beverages and shampoo, conditioner etc. Cons: TV was only available in communal room so were bevereges etc. Bathroom need renovation and the beds were not moved for cleaning.
