The Canvas Apartment Hotel

Good location for the price, nice staff but very noisy from trains.

Pros: The apartment is in a great location for getting around the city by either walking, tram or train. It’s not huge but big enough for 2 people for short stay accommodation and had everything needed. It’s clean and comfortable and has safe access. Cons: The noise of the trains was terrible. Had 5 nights stay and very little sleep. The building is opposite the elevated track where there is a bend and the freight and passenger trains are constantly running past but breaking / screeching on the turn. Pros: The reception staff were amazing. I also liked it as it was close to the tram stops. Cons: It was unfortunate that one of the lifts was out of service during my stay. There were times where it took a while for the lift to come. Also the fridge made a constant buzzing sound, which was annoying. Had to keep adjusting the fridge temperature for the buzzing to stop.

Pros: Location Cons: Shower head - Fawlty. Extremely noisy heater. Carpark????

Pros: The closeness to lots of different cafes and restaurants and having a tram right outside Cons: Unfortunately having one lift down made the wait of the one functioning lift a little long.
