The stay was adequate
Pros: The position was good for the cathedral and town centre, although the hill back up to it was long Cons: The decor and facilities were very tired and could have done with refurbishment

Perfect getaway, absolutely wonderful
Pros: Absolutely perfect. Beautiful hotel, excellent location, lovely and peaceful, very friendly and helpful staff. The room felt more like a room in a country house than a generic hotel room, which I loved. Definitely the best place I’ve ever stayed Cons: Impossible to dislike anything about this place

The hotel is in a super position for Lichfield centre. Safe car park. Staff always helpful and pleasant. Our room 301 was excellent. Very comfortable bed & fantastic bath
