Unimpressed as it could be a little gem with a little attention to details and better breakfast ingredients.

Pros: The location is beautiful. Cons: Having arrived after dark, the car park is not very well lit. The room was said to be the biggest and recently refurbished. Unfortunately it had a very bad smell, not sure if it was drains or musty. The bedding was too small for the bed and felt damp to the touch. We brought an air freshener and that made a lot of difference for the smell and made the most of the small duvet. There also seemed to be damp stains on two of the bedroom walls. The tea and coffee facilities weren’t all that. The pub seemed in used by locals and the breakfast was also very limi

The location was excellent but the room was tired

Pros: The building is very attractive, bring set in a pretty village of honey-coloured stone cottages. The bed was comfortable, the shower was pleasant and the breakfast was tasty. Cons: The decoration internally was very amateurish, and looked very tired. There was a constant strange gurgling noise audible in our room. There was a strange smell, I think it was joss sticks. We would have liked to see a written menu of the breakfast options.

What a shame

Pros: Room was clean , bedding was great Cons: Food was 5/10 , breakfast given 2 choices for ease of staff , then all other guests were given a breakfast leaflet to fill in . Was mostly cold Staff was a bit strange , more focused on charging extra than being polite
