Pros: Loved the location and the room was lovely. Bed very comfortable and really nice coffee machine and biscuits, which were a lovely touch. They had put a fan in the room due to the hot weather. Cons: Shower was unusable. It only ran piping hot water even when on coldest setting, which in the extreme heatwave was unbearable. We told staff as soon as we knew before going to bed but no room to swap to. Told staff again in the morning but only apologised. We're busy with breakfast and didnt seem bothered. It tainted the stay not being able to have a cool shower.
