The pub's in a very quiet place and the bed was comfortable
The pub's in a very quiet place and the bed was comfortable. The food is also good - we had dinner and breakfast. It's a charming place but there is a lack of attention to detail, eg, the hot taps in the toilets off the dining room did not work, we were not offered a separate plate or knife with our toast, the shower head badly needed descaling, the room decor and furniture appeared tired and worn in places. At this price point, we expected better. A good place to dine but not stay at the moment.
Oh so many flies
Fantastic hotel, great room and lovely food. Very friendly staff....just so many flies!!
Will come back
A busy well maintained pub with excellent quiet rooms in the garden, and a good evening meal
