Lovely Olde World stopover.

Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals. This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges and a dedicated sports TV room.Sitiuated in the historic, lovely village of Eastry, just over 10 mi

Home away from home vibes

We've have never stayed somewhere that's made us feel more welcome. The food is good. The staff are lovely and go well out of their way to help and make you feel at home. The locals are friendly. What more could you want?
