Convenient but not a good value for the price of the stay.
Pros: The staff were very nice Cons: Expensive for the quality. The whole place looked a bit dingy and tired. It seemed clean but the carpets and furniture were worn, the window sills in the bathroom had dead flies and spiders on them. The hallway doors were ingrained with smudge stains.
Nice location needs an upgrade
Pros: The bed was very old and sagging badly in the middle Cons: Breakfast was very good when the cook arrived an hour or so late
Enjoyable Stay
Pros: Pet friendly & plenty of grass for walks. Good English breakfast (cooked to order) and evening meal (home made). Enormous bathroom, though bedroom quite tight. Windows need work, problem may be conservation plsnning restrictions? Cons: Breakfast not served until 8.30, difficult if trying to catch early ferries etc.

Pros: The staff were lovely. The room was fine. Cons: Breakfast was an hour late! Nobody there for half an hour.
Comfortable old worldy inn in a great situation.
Pros: The location. The interior of the inn, good menu selection, congenial surroundings. Cons: The room was quite spacious but very quirky. The bedside lights didn't appear to work and the bathroom corridor light came on once anyone in the bedroom moved.
