Excellent facilities and a great nights sleep

Pros: My stay at The Forge was perfect for what I needed. I travel for business and the room was perfect to not only get a good nights sleep but also to catch up on a bit of work and have a relaxed breakfast. I will be in the area a fair amount so will definitely be back. Cons: Nothing - it was perfect.

Fantastic homely place.

Pros: Lovely place. DIY breakfast was of excellent quality and some lovely touches home made breakfast bars and shortbread was very delicious. Every thing we needed was there. Happily stay here again. 🤗 Cons: Nothing. All very recieved.

Excellent room and facilities

Perfect for our overnight stay. They’d thought of everything! Very quiet, lovely clean room with a fabulous selection for our breakfast. We stayed in the Pig Sty and loved the pig theme.

Perfect guest rooms at the Forge.

Named ‘the Pigsty’ this was a beautiful place to stay. A comfortable, spacious room with excellent facilities and its own outdoor space. We loved the ‘breakfast in the room’ set up - baking to enjoy with our cuppa, then juice, cereals, fresh milk, eggs, bread/toast & preserves, ground coffee & cafetière. A large, comfy bed, and a clean bathroom, with walk in shower. An ideal location for a wedding we were attending at nearby Whatton House. We didn’t meet our host, but were provided with clear, useful information.
