Lovely hotel

Beautiful, small but very well presented rooms. Breakfast was delicious and service very good.

Pros: The room itself was lovely and so was the breakfast in the restaurant Cons: Our room was absolutely boiling hot and we could not open the window enough to let fresh air in, they supplied a fan but it was just pushing hot air around. it was not a great night sleep because of this. I think if it's that hot we should have been offered. room on the ground floor or the window should at least be able to be opened all the way.

OK for an overnight.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Location of pub was good. Cons: It advertised the room had air con but all it had was a fan. We weren't told that a major event was taking place in the grounds of the pub when we booked. This affected parking it was noisy and staff were extremely busy.

Relaxing

Pros: Lovely setting in quiet area of Letchworth, room was excellently presented with only issue was TV not working but staff made every effort to rectify issue, other than that would highly recommend if you are thinking of staying or dining at Fox's. Staff were very friendly for both breakfast & dinner servings where the food was of a very high standard. Secure parking. Very enjoyable & relaxing weekend. Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Disappointing.

Pros: The staff were friendly. Cons: Our room was next to a small post office. Every time someone came into the shop we could hear the ding-dong of the shop door. We had to ask for the outside chairs to be cleaned before we could use them. There were ear-plugs left for guests…that should have told us something! But one pack was empty! There was dust on the phone. So that hadn’t been cleaned. The bedside tables were in effect stalls and too small to put your phone and watch etc on to get charged. We could hear the next door person’s alarm go off early in the morning. Overall it was a very dis
