It was a good place to stay as we were attending the Festival.
Pros: Very central location. Perfect for attending the Thaxted Festival Cons: The shower/power cut out and took a long time to re-set.

Small but perfectly formed! Beautiful village location, warm welcome from hosts. Good value for money.
Pros: Cute property opposite beautiful church and located in a pretty medieval town. Good size bedroom/bathroom/living area. Cons: No on-site parking but that was notified before booking and 24hr car park located nearby. Did get hot (was exceptional weather) so fan provided by owners. Steep stairs but again advised in advance.

It’s a lovely apartment with a very friendly helpful owner. I have 3 ‘minor’ suggestions worth considering: A pint of milk for making coffee/tea on arrival is always welcome. The stairs are very steep and whilst I can manage them, if I was an elder or less mobile they could prove problematic. I suggest this is made clear in the advert. The shower head may need some attention. Aside from that it’s lovely so don’t want to be overly critical. They are soluble and constructive hopefully🙂

Pros: Location was ideal for my trip
Pros: Location was ideal for my trip. The cottage had everything I needed and was very comfortable. Hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
