A wonderful period hotel, fully modernised, in one of the oldest settlements in the UK.
Pros: A lovely hotel in the centre of Amesbury. One of the best cooked breakfasts I have had in terms of quality. I had possibly the best eggs benedict I have ever eaten. The rooms are all of a nice size with all that you could want. The bathrooms are lovely with a full compliment of quality products. The tea and coffee facilities are great in the room. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. This is very near Stonehenge if you fancy a visit. I have stayed 3 times now and will be back.
Cons: It can be a little bit of noise if you overlook the front due to early morning traffic and bin c

Ideal place to stay
Pros: Great staff. Lovely building. Easy to find. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: Being picky the pillows were like having a concrete block under your head. We both threw them out.
