We had a lovely stag here, the staff were very friendly and the food was very good
Pros: Lovely historical 13th century building, old style. The location was great for visiting Bath as the D2 bus passes the door. Cons: Nothing really other than the fact that the ceiling are very low in thee bedroom
Wonderful experience we I will never forget
Pros: The George had so much character every where! Wherever you looked there was something new and intriguing to look at. The inn has been a licences since 14th century. The staff were all very professional, experienced and good at their jobs also very knowledgeable about the inns history. Cons: We loved the room we were in which was called The Samuel Pepys room with a painting of him in the room. It had a large four poster bed. The whole ambience of the room was wonderful, even down to classical music playing on an old radio in the room on arrival. Every detail was well thought out to be

Amazing historic building
Fabulous breakfast
Pros: Beautiful building & superbly furnished, the atmosphere was really cosy. Breakfast was fantastic, good quality food & plenty of it. Overall, loved our 2 day stay. Cons: The only down side was our room was next to the road & above the restaurant, plus thin walls making it a noisy room.
