The Gilmore is a great hotel if you are looking for a boutique property in the fabulous 12 South area. $6-10 Lyft to Downtown. Walkable to tons of great restaurants. The rooms are lovely. 202 had a strong smell of fresh paint, so I was accommodated with a different room for the last two nights of my three night stay. The front desk staff were the best I've ever met after staying in several hundred properties over a lifetime of travel and former work in the airline industry. I appreciated their thoughtfulness and personal attention very much. Don't hesitate to book here...you'll have a lovely s
