Good hotel with excellent amenities, easy access to everything in Boston

Pros: Room is large, good bathroom/shower, very good amenities/snacks in the room and available early evening each day, water cooler with varying options on each floor, plus printer (boarding passes?), coffee shop downstairs is perfect for breakfast and small bar. Felt safe walking around at night in the area. Cons: The area around the hotel looks a bit scruffy as it is in the CBD/shopping area and it was noisy early on one of the mornings (no idea why).

Very poor customer service, it was worse then motel

Pros: Location Cons: They gave us the worse room upon arrival with very small window blocked by an air conditioner unit. We requested a different room, manager was so rude that she told us if we don’t like it we can cancel and go somewhere else. Very bad customer service for the night price

We loved The Godfrey and would definitely recommend it.

Pros: The staff was very helpful. We didn't realize that the waters and snacks within our room were "unlimited" and part of the cost we had already paid; that was a nice surprise. The location was right next to the areas we wanted to visit and near amentities we may need. I would visit this hotel again and would definitely recommend it. Cons: The only think we wished we had was a refrigerator.
