With the exception of expensive taxi/Uber to get to/from airport around the corner - the hotel is absolutely perfect. Staff also 10/10 and noise from aircraft taking off is not too bad.

Lovely surroundings and a great restaurant...however, I wouldn't stay here again. The blind didnt work in the bedroom, so the room was constantly glowing with headlights from the constant flow of traffic. Also we had a broken bed which slowly got worse as the night went on. As we had to leave 3am, wasn't worth asking to move. We were told to email our complaint, but never heard back.

Room was just as advertised and had everything we needed - except hair conditioner. Easy and helpful check-in staff. Clean. The collection of buildings were absolutely stunningly cute and well-maintained, especially for the age, and nice explorable grounds. Not much open in the area or walkable past evening time. Quick cab ride to Stanstead. Beds a bit on the short size, rooms could use fans in the summer. Opening the windows was an option but we were on the road side which was surprisingly noisy for most of the night, in addition to very loud planes overhead nearly every 5 minutes well past 1
