The character of the cottage charmed our stay in Ireland and hope to visit again in cooler months!

Pros: Beautiful, rustic location! Cozy, updated kitchen and bathrooms. The grounds were exactly what we were hoping for with flowers, trees, and character. It felt so peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. Cons: We happen to be visiting during a very hot spell for Ireland (uncontrollable). The second floor rooms were incredibly warm even with the windows open and shades pulled to block the afternoon sun (but not the air). Fans would have been helpful at night as sleeping was difficult on the second floor…but we still loved it!

Pros: I loved the cozy olde world feel of the cottage with modern bathrooms and amenities.I enjoyed sitting outside in the countryside yet it's within 15 min to drive shopping if you need. Cons: I would have loved for the outdoor sitting area to have been better maintained for use. The kitchen is small so there's a dorm sized refrigerator. If you're planning on cooking meals, it's not really a good space for that.

Pros: Beautiful little oasis of rural calm. Exceptionally clean, with good quality appliances, showers etc yet still felt authentically 'old Ireland' Layout of rooms is very spacious, particularly in the twin room. Very easy access to the surrounding area tourist attractions Cons: I would have liked a blind on the roof window in the bedroom
