Ambient and good position
This hotel is in the centre of Harrogate close to the park. The bar is busy and noisy .We ate in the restaurant but had to check the booking 3 times as they had us in the bar first and then for 2 not 4 as requested. Even then the table was set for 3 !! All 4 meals were nicely presented and reasonable value . Our room was clean and large . Good size shower and heated towel rail even in August.The bed was OK but the pillows were akin to a rock ! Disappointed.

Great location
We booked this hotel on recommendation from a friend . The hotel is in a great location, nice room with a lovely atmosphere in the bar area. Reception seemed strange as it was at the bar so didn’t feel very welcoming .
We stayed for 3 nights and only had house keeping on one day whom then left our door open!
We had a meal in the bar on our last evening and this was very good.
Parking is first come first serve BUT be warned our car was hit in the car park we reported it to reception who said they would check their cctv. Haven’t heard back yet! Ample parking on the road outside (pay and
