Host robbed me for my deposit. DO NOT BOOK HERE!! IT'S A SCAM!!!

Cons: After booking the host demands a deposit outside booking.com before they will give you the door code to the listing. After contacting the host many times since the end of my stay to collect my deposit they have been dodgy continuing to say they "will look into it" but then I don't hear back. I finally sent them a return request through Paypal where I paid this deposit and they just canceled the request. Apparently, they always intended to rip me off. After at least five attempts in the last two weeks to contact them for my deposit they have given no reason they should keep it. They are j
