Our room was up in the roof and we wanted some ventilation , the manager had to force the window open. Asked for brown sauce at breakfast and was informed they had none. We needed to request our room to be served despite leaving a label on the door. Asked for a coffee but had no cream

A fabulous overnight stay, I was attending the Edinburgh Tattoo and needed somewhere close to stay. Inn on the Mile was a perfect 10 min walk away. Check in was quick and friendly. My room was on the top floor, but it was a pleasure walking up the 3 floors, the decor, carpets and views from windows made it an easy walk. My room was superb, a very comfortable kingsize bed, comfy chair. The bathroom was beautiful and modern. And everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is in the downstairs pub, again it was spotless and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful, I enjoyed th
