Enjoyabke

Pros: The hotel and location were good, however the breakfast was disappointing as it was barely warm, the choice was good just ashame it was luke warm. Apart from the breakfast we enjoyed our stay Cons: Breakfast

Excellent

Pros: The hotel is a lovely airy building, light spacious corridors. Good size rooms. The lakeside and parkland setting was beautiful. It was just perfect for us, being able to exercise our dog. Cons: Nothing really.

Nice hotel but needs a better restaurant system

Pros: The room was a good size and very clean and quiet. The Bluetooth key system did not work for me, and I have to be given a key card instead. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable Cons: The bar area was very busy, I was there on a Friday evening and there was no restaurant as such, you ordered from the bar and your food was brought out on a trolley. There were no proper dining tables, it was mostly settees and comfy chairs and people were eating off their laps. I ordered my food which took an hour to come, and there was only half my order there. Difficult to find and in a busy area but very welcoming staff

Pros: The receptionist called Marie was very welcoming and gave me an upgrade as I wanted a quiet room Cons: It was so quiet as the hotel was not full so we went to the Orchard for dinner and breakfast Some background music may have helped The radiator in the room would not turn off so it was very uncomfortable to sleep

Lovely stay while visiting my kids at UoN

Pros: Lovely spacious family room and pleasant staff Cons: Bit noisy but exhibition on. Not really a problem
