Lovely stay but if you are noise sensitive, ask for the room at the back
Pros: The room was exceptionally clean, bed extremely comfortable and the staff/service (didn’t get the ladies name) impeccable. Thank you. Cons: Whist I was aware of the location being on the busy road, the noise from the traffic was quite loud all through the night.
Good location, not so good hotel
Pros: The hotel was a few steps away from Ladbroke Grove which was really handy. Short walk away from Notting Hill which is the reason we booked the hotel. The room was small but clean. Cons: The hotel is above a pub, there is no hotel reception, you just have to walk into the pub and to the bar. We didn’t see any staff other than to check in throughout our stay. The worst part of our experience was how loud it was at night. The pub had extremely loud music playing until gone 12am which was so loud there was no way we could get to sleep. Previous reviews mentions that they cannot hear the pub
Ideal location for Notting Hill area
Pros: So central in Notting Hill . Beautiful pub on the corner short walk to centre of Notting Hill and minutes to the underground . Rooms were amazing modern with every facility needed . Air con a dream Cons: Nothing
The pub atmosphere was great and convenient location for what I needed.
Pros: The staff were lovely, incredibly friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. Cons: At midnight, the music went incredibly loud for about 30 minutes, I don't know whether it was when the pub was on clean down but it was intrusively loud.
Comfy and clean room
Pros: Room looked great, bed was comfortable. Easy access for out of hours via keypad. Air con! Cons: The cost was a tad high for me, but I was still happy with what I got.
