Very convenient, old style hotel
Pros: Location Cons: The shower was dreadful only some holes worked so you had to dodge the non-working holes. No plug sockets near bed to charge phones

Pros: The location makes this hotel a great choice, right on the seafront at the Pier
Pros: The location makes this hotel a great choice, right on the seafront at the Pier. It certainly plays on its history but is pretty shabby. Cons: It desperately needs some TLC, for what they charge it feels very tired. The windows, original single glazed sash were too difficult to open/close and were left open. We were on the top floor and I wouldn't like having a child up there. Also no lift, apparently out of use for a long time. The narrow Victorian staircase made lifting a case difficult.
