3 stars, and it shows. Could be so much better for the location and price.

Pros: Location is great. Cons: Very dated decor. Not changed much since the last time we stayed over 10 years ago. Barman was awful, extremely slow (not good when events were happening) no bar skills. Ordered a double JD & coke, he filled the glass up with coke and no offer of ice. Nothing! Overall very disappointed.

enjoyable over night stay

Pros: superb location outstanding views lovely walks right on the doorstep, very spacious room , Cons: its a little outdated but very clean , cosy and welcoming after all its a 3* although no handwash at sink in bathroom, no basic information in room about hotel layout , and needed more staff on hand to clear main areas at front where people had been eating , dishes and food remnants were left for quite a while , quite a few tables were like that
