Great staycation

Lovely location, great views out on to the Marsh. Walks right on the doorstep. The hosts were very friendly.

Pros: Wonderful setting, pleasant host, easy parking Cons: Couldn't get warm (unseasonably cold weather) No cooktop, just a microwave.

Comfortable and peaceful rural retreat.

On arrival I was warmly welcomed, the lodge was comfortable and warm with everything I needed. Tea, coffee, milk and breakfast food were much appreciated.

Pros: We loved log cabin feel and the quiet location and the view and our hosts. We would use this property again. Cons: Was a little difficult to identify the property in the dark although we did choose the right place. A big sign for us dummies could make it easier. There was a small sign on the gate that we missed initially.
