The Lord Byron Inn

Pros: Very helpful housekeeper Juliet Cons: Tired state of property, about to close for refurbishment. Obviously no repairs done, so there was a broken towel rail, walk in shower had very poor drainage.

Lovely pub accommodation would recommend

Pros: The pub food was very good and the location close to the park and ride Cons: Nothing really . The room was basic but very clean and warm

Well trained staff who created a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly comfortable stay

Pros: Breakfast was delicious Cons: There could have been a comfortable chair to sit int he room

A great place to stay, exceeded all expectations and will definitely stay again in the future.

Pubs are about people and the staff here were simply the best.

Breakfast was served in the main pub room. Standard English etc but I was just having a snack. I had a lovely pie and mash for dinner with a pint of local ale. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. I had a couple of problems unrelated to the Byron, and the staff and owner could not have been more helpful and friendly. Brilliant.
