The Maids Head Hotel

Not the best experience of this fine old hotel.

Pros: I needed a location close to the cathedral so this was ideal. The hotel was quiet at night and the bed was comfortable, Breakfast offered a good choice but was quite highly priced. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially reception staff. Cons: I will not accept room 222 again ( had it before and it is maybe the worst they have). It is very small for a double, has a view onto blank walls and roofs and ventilation extractors. If you open the wondows, you have a kitchen smells and the room is gloomy with a colony of pigeons right opposite the window. There are very many small flights

All staff were delightful. Friendly, helpful and polite.

Pros: Staff were outstanding. Helpful and kind but not pushy. Cons: Lighting in the room was not great, particularly for applying makeup in the evening before going out.

Great place to stay if you're visiting Norwich

Pros: Stayed in the junior suite, great space. Incredible room service, lovely clean area, friendly staff - comfortable bed. Perfect for a city stay Cons: Happy with everything.

Central, historic hotel. The 'hidden' bar was a nice surprise.

Pros: The staff were so pleasant, positive , pro-active and professional. Cons: No lift to my floor Cathedral but staff assisted me with my luggage.
