Most dirtiest b&b ever, the last 6 photos are of the 2nd room

Pros: The place was absolutely filthy, the manager didn't seem bothered, she did get us another room in their other place (the swan) next door, that was cleaner but still extremely poor cleaning standards Cons: We booked for 2 nights as my partner has been extremely poorly and we needed a break, we couldn't even unpack the case as there was only 1 coat hanger, but it was dirty everywhere

Great for 1 night

Pros: Breakfast was lovely. Room very quiet. Good location Cons: Room was a bit tatty upon arrival. Wallpaper coming away. There was a freestanding bath in the room but was not plumbed in ?? Poor finishes

Lots of potential, fell short of expectations.

Pros: Lots of potential to be lovely. Bar area decorated nicely, room was generally clean with a few exceptions. Cons: Everything needs a good clean! Glasses need polishing, breakfast cups need stains removed, Chest of drawers in the bedroom had crumbs on and when we rinsed down the shower after use there was dirt/mould coming off the tiles. Several things we asked for had run out (basic things) and breakfast was served with Nescafé sachets, teabags in a mug (no teapot), very cheap tasting orange juice.

Pros: The location Cons: Loud music until 12 midnight

Pros: The location Cons: Loud music until 12 midnight. This is just a personal thing and wasn't the venue's fault. I just wouldn't go here again on the basis that we preferred quiet. The hallway in the building where the rooms were, were quite run down and the whole building needed renovating. The pub was understaffed but they really did their best.
