Lovely hotel in an amazing location!

Pros: I love my stay in The Maverick, the whole experience has been wonderful. The flat has everything you need, it’s clean, spacious and incredibly well located. I loved the modern style and how comfy the bed is. It’s very close to the river walk and Alamo. I highly recommend this hotel. Cons: I don’t give a 10 because contacting them is impossible. The contact email is inexistent, no body replies. The phone number in booking gives error and the one in google you need to call 8-10 times until someone answers. Nice place, good location

Pros: Rooms were perfect, good location. La Panaderia Bakery down the street is great for breakfast. Cons: If cockroaches are a big problem for you like they are for my girlfriend, note that they can get up even to high floors in San Antonio. We had one during our stay - not much the hotel can do about it, it happens when you’re so close to the river. Also, being downtown it can get a bit noisy at night. It’s not unbearable but the window isolation could be improved.

An early morning river walk is stunning. It's cooler and there are fewer people around.

Pros: It is clean and cozy. The location is great. Just walk 3 minutes to riverside. I will definitely recommend to everyone who want to visit San Antonio. Cons: The elevator vibrates. It can't work when we need to check out in the early morning. We need to move our luggage from the ninth floor to the first floor.

Great stay

Pros: Great sized apartment style room. Fully working kitchen and full sized fridge/freezer. Nice bathroom and the shower was hot every day no issues with temp. Comfy bed! Amazing location right by the River Walk and central location. Took about 15 minutes to the airport. Cons: The street noises were really loud, and it sounded like some sort of generator right outside the window in the bedroom. Luckily we had been travelling a lot so were really tired and pretty much knocked out each night, but if you were a light sleeper you would struggle! Although there is earplugs provided on the bed side
