Smooth sailing at The Mayflower - lovely stay from start to finish!

Pros: We had an amazing night's sleep! The bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious, and the shower was just perfect. Breakfast was lovely too. A wonderful stay all round! Cons: My only minor grumbles would be the plastic toilet seat, which is more a personal preference than anything, and the height of the bathroom mirror! At 5ft 3, I had to stand on tiptoes to see my whole face. That said, the bathroom was modern, contemporary and absolutely spotless, and there was a full-length mirror in the bedroom, so neither was a big issue.

Pros: Perfect location and lovely and cool Room even on a hot day Cons: Our room was near the kitchen vent so there was quite loud humming noise whilst the kitchen was operating however this stopped at 9 pm so did not affect our sleep

Overall very pleased, just a little unfortunate with yappy dogs

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, room very nicely decorated, lovely bathroom, staff were very helpful and allowed us an early check in as the room was prepared Cons: Soundproofing could be better especially when yappy dogs are also staying. I guess we were a little unlucky with the timing on that. Definitely a gap under the room door which meant any noise in the corridor could be heard

Absolutely outstanding in every way.

Pros: The staff were amazing. Renata was so lovely as our server. Lebo in housekeeping is fantastic and Megan is a brilliant Manager. All the staff are very well trained. The rooms are exceptional. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
