It was fine but has so much potential to be so much better.

Pros: The architecture was beautiful as was the entrance apart from someone had smeared something not very nice on the glass and it had been left. The reception and bar are looked really stylist. Cons: The bathroom was awful. The shower was either nuclear hot or freezing, the screen was inadequate so the whole bathroom got soaked and we had 2/3 of a single roll of toilet roll which ran out and we had no toilet roll at all. Plus there was no space or surface in the bedroom or bathroom to put things on.

We stayed at the hotel when it was the former Ambassadors Hotel at least 4 times based on the location. After the " redo," The Memoir Club Hotel will be our go-to! The accommodations overall have been upgraded; the rooms feature lovely and comfortable decoration, super comfy bedding, and better amenities overall. Requested a quiet upper-floor deluxe double and was impressed. Even the adjacent restaurant, Adeline, has undergone a significant upgrade with a superb menu, actually better than some of the more well-known London venues. We would go back just for the chef's lentil + tomato soup!

Location was excellent and staff very helpful

Pros: Clean Lovely decor Tasteful Size (not too big) Location to Euston Comfy beds and linen Great coffee including oat milk in the machine Cons: Size of room (tiny) Size of bathroom (very small!) Shower may frayed and holes in Staff pleasant but not overly welcoming Breakfast should be hot not just warm, need to add more variety such as granola, pancakes, more fruit, bacon wasn’t cooked very well, beans had a skin on them Event took over bar area considerably made us feel unable to utilise Lift was very noisy and rickety
