An 80 yr olds perspective.

Pros: Everything, the staff were attentive, kind, considerate for an old lady, recently berieved. They could have done no more to make my stay ,however, briefly, more comfortable. It was a business trip, with a timetable to follow. The only word to describe the Food EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! Cons: As an 80 year old, with suspect hips and bones in general, a lift to the first floor would be very helpful. The kindness of a stranger when I arrived and the consideration and kindness of the staff member made my climbing 2 flights of stairs possible. So not ideal. They need a lift.

Relaxing

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Deco was very good. Cons: Toilet Seat was broken. Could have done with some drawers for clothes.

Highly recommend the Merlin !

Both myself and my partner had a lovely 2 night stay at Merlin, our room was really nice and food and drink excellent.
