SUPER SKETCHY
Came with my daughters and this place is HORRIBLE. Blood on I side of shower window panel. Handprints on the OUSIDE of the window like it’s been opened! Definitely doesn’t feel safe especially having to stay with kids!

SLC’s worst place to stay. Next time, I’ll just save the money and sleep in my car.
Total dissatisfaction. Complete failure. Even the slightest effort was missed. You can run a business without being completely void of responsibility. I barred the door and put my gun under the pillow. Jeez
Safe and Somewhat Clean
Location is good. It’s relatively quiet. Good shower pressure and hot water. The flooring looks new. The professional pictures of the place have been generously retouched. The reception area is run down with patches of wall missing, damaged hi top tables and stools, and a couch with tears. Our room was freshly painted and relatively clean. There are stain shadows on the sheets and stains on the fabric chairs. The bathroom is clean but run down, and there are a few ants. Beds are creaky, but firm. Room has unpleasant smell, maybe from cleaning solution. I looked through a gate with a “No Life
Don't stay here, they will rip you off with bogus charges.
I stayed one night as a solo traveler at the Metropolitan Inn on 11-11-25. I was charged a $100 fee for "damage to the room" when I know for a fact I did ZERO damage to the room. When I called to inquire about it, the manager I spoke with told me it was for "damage to the towels" (which makes no sense to me at all) and was refused to give me a refund with no proof whatsoever that I caused any damage (which I know I didn't).
Not great
Great location, close to everything. Unfortunately the air con / heater made a horrible noise and then stopped working entirely, so I was freezing cold on the first night and the room had no spare blanket. The bed was big, clean, and comfortable but only had one actual pillow, and 5 cushions that were too small to use as a pillow. I was given a spare blanket after asking the young man at reception, so my second night was much more pleasant. The towels were all badly stained, and water leaked in all directions from the bathroom tap.
October here averages 9°C, with around 46 mm of rain across the month.
