Food was rubbish!!

Pros: Staff at breakfast were very polite Cons: Hotel was average at best. Looks nice from the outside but was dated inside. We had to move tables in the restaurant as the window was leaking. The food was poor for the money. My wife and I had the rib eye steak and it’s the worst Iv ever had. If you do need to stay at this hotel then do not eat here as over priced and rubbish quality. Breakfast wasn’t very good either, however the staff were very friendly for breakfast.

Pros: Dinner restaurant location was lovely.Would have preferred table with better views which were available,no French mustard,had to pay excessive amount to get wine upgrade,only served 2 cheeses when ordering and paying for 3 which only realized when looking at bill after checking out. Cons: Was delighted with an upgrade on the room which was really appreciated tbf.overall excellent stay for a special occasion

Not good value

Took a trip to the restaurant on a dinner time we didn’t think the menu was that good so we chose fish and chips with peas only because there wasn’t anything better and £5 for a bottle of water enough said

I would like an excuse to come back

This was a very pleasant location through a nice little village. Despite its proximity to the busy M6, I couldn't hear it with the windows closed, in my room on that side of the hotel - effective air-con negated the need to open the window. When you stood at the reception side of the Hotel, outside, you could not hear the M6 either. Convenient for the M6 if you want a nicer stopover. Rooms were nice, showers worked well. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant, and looking to please. I stay in a lot of hotels and would like an excuse to come back here. Always nice to be alongsi
