Enjoyable, lovely little village in the Peak District, lots of history
Pros: Traditional pub, good food, good beer, friendly staff Cons: A few bathroom fittings needed replacing or tightening
Great location, clean and welcoming
Pros: Location, room was lovely- I'd read other reviews about rooms not great however I felt I couldn't fault it for a country pub. It was comfy, clean and spacious. Staff very friendly on arrival, really nice staff, explaining what's what and asking about me. Big smiles so 10/10 Cons: There was a humming like extractor fan noise which was constant you could hear it, I had ear plugs which did the trick to cancel noise out. I was only staying one night arrive early evening and left first thing, felt it wasn't an issue to mention however if I was going to stay more nights I would of mentioned it.
Nice
Pros: Great location Nice staff some areas a little tired since we last came Garden 🪴 is looking nice Cons: Toast racks and cold orange juice needed
Warm welcome and great place to stay
Pros: A fantastic pub in the heart of the Peak District with easy parking, garden space and well equipped spacious rooms. Cons: Nothing not to like
Clean and nice design
