Absolutely wonderful experience! I was there for both work meetings downtown and visiting with family nearby. So much more gracious than staying in a regular hotel and far easier than an Airbnb—breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend.
Pros: Location was great. Breakfast started a little late at 7.30. For business purposes 7 or earlier would be better and also buffet vs cooked to order would be preferred but this may not be feasible with the no of guests Cons: See above

We were surprised by the aesthetic quality of the Morehead Inn. And copliments to the very friendly young lady who made our breakfast experience even better. Besides the very good quality of the breakfast, the way she treated us was very nice.

I really wanted to love The Morehead Inn. The location is beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. Matthew in particular was amazing and made the experience so much better. Unfortunately, my stay was overshadowed by an insect issue in my room (see photos). What was most disappointing was Hannah, the manager, whose response was dismissive and patronizing when I brought the issue to her attention. I expected much better from management.. I also personally observed mold in one of the rooms and have attached a photo. I hope these concerns are taken seriously going forward.
