On the Main Street with shops just outside

On the Main Street with shops just outside. A spacious room and bathroom. Great value. Older room, but well maintained

Great place to stay

Pros: Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Excellent shower. Nice bar and garden with very friendly patrons and landlord. Good local cafes and eateries for breakfast and evening meals. On site car park. Cons: The property met our expectations and we didn't mind that it was on a busy main road. We found it good value for money. We suggested the installation of a full length mirror in the room but I wouldn't say it was a negative from my point of view.

Very handy for the Thames Path

Pros: The room was large, clean and bright and exactly what I needed for an overnight stop on the Thames Path Cons: The rooms are in annexes at the back of the pub near the garden and car park. This means there is a bit of noise from cars and pub users during opening hours, made a bit worse by the fact that the car park is surfaced with loose gravel, but the noise didn't go on late and I got a good night's sleep. NB there is no breakfast option, but there is a good place nearby.
