The Potting Shed

Absolutely loved The Potting Shed and all it has to offer, felt very close to nature in gorgeous surroundings.

Pros: Outside space and lovely walks on the doorstep, superbly equipped with great little touches as in a tray of local produce (bread, milk, jams, cookies etc) along with home grown eggs. Everything in excellent working order and well maintained. Cons: The size of the fridge was a little bit limiting, if wanting to avoid too many trips to the shops maybe a slightly larger fridge for storage would benefit those who just wanted to park the car and hole up for a few days. But certainly not a negative

Pros: Very good description, very quiet and peaceful, great place to relax, or if want somewhere to get away from the busy world we live in nowadays Cons: Bbq light fluid might have been easier to start a fire than all or could just be me used to the one-use and throw away ones

Pros: I can't recommend The Potting Shed enough - if you have an opportunity to stay here then do it! Surrounded by beautiful countryside in a secluded spot; chickens and a friendly orange cat, plus sightings of deer, rabbits and all kinds of wild birds; lots of space; very kind and attentive hosts while also giving guests complete privacy. The hosts have thought of everything you could need during your stay and more. It is like camping, but with a full range of home comforts and minus the faff of a tent. Excellent stay, beautiful place and incredibly attentive and kind host. Thank you!

Pros: We loved the little added touches, we were given fresh eggs, homemade bread and yummy biscuits. There was milk, jam and butter in the fridge. It was so lovely not having to take anything with us, it was all there. The shower was lovely and hot, the toiletries provided were excellent. The place was so quiet (bar the rooster 🤭) and it felt really private. We loved the wifi and having the TV in the bedroom too. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!
