Find somewhere else

Pros: Nothing Cons: Firstly Ewan who was on reception/bar & acting manager was very helpful, however the hotel was truly dreadful. How anyone could rate anything this grim above 1 out of ten is beyond me. The room we were given was appalling we could not have stayed there it was so bad. Ewan understood & tried to give us an alternative room but this was almost as bad and did not suit our needs due to being on the 2nd floor & not having a walk in shower. We asked for a refund for the 2 nights we had paid for but were refused as Ewan did not have this authority so we asked for the name & number

Overall lovely stay , pool was charming and private - lovely front garden and well maintained hotel no complaints about any of it really as we slept well and the location was lovely , the sauna was off and we were informed it was working and the breakfast young woman - I believe daughter in the family made us feel a little like she didn’t really want to serve us due to her unwelcoming approach on entry to the dining area. Aside from this we had a wonderful time and would recommend to someone staying in the area on a sunny weekend .

Exceptional staff but over-stetched. Hotel requires improvement

Pros: The hotel staff were exceptional but over-stretched. They flitted between reception, bar, restaurant and so on. One can see that there is a plan to elevate the property, but it lacked in certain areas. The shower was more of a trickle, the room cluttered with an oversized television. The room was clean , the bed comfortable. Breakfast delicous Cons: See above
