absolutely amazing place rooms very comfortable facilities within the rooms excellent and the breakfast facilities provided for the early starts where excellent. the pub itself was cozy comfortable and the food served was excellent

Amazing Value for Money

Very much like the fruit, cereal etc available on the landing outside your room along with juices and yoghurts

Characterful, friendly, country pub within easy reach of Ipswich.

Pros: The pub is located very close to the small railway station which was convenient. It has attractive outside seating areas and a comfortable restaurant area inside. The evening menu was good and the service friendly. We had a continental breakfast in our bedroom which we found convenient. Good selection of cereals and fresh fruit. Selection of teas. Cons: You can hear the railway from the bedroom and it seemed as though goods trains were travelling throughout the night. I didn’t find it disturbing but some people might. The coffee pod machine in the room didn’t work but plenty of tea!

Would have been lovely with out the noise!

Pros: Good location next to the Westerfield train station. Good restaurant too. Cons: There was music blaring outside our rooms both nights. The outside seating area had piped music which didn’t switch off when the pub closed, so we got very little sleep. We didn’t get chance to complain on the night, but they did apologise.
