Perfect location
Pros: Breakfast was decent, especially the cooked options. Staff were very friendly and helpful, again especially at breakfast. Perfect location for walking from Edale.
Cons: Unfortunately the evening food was below expectations. I understand that it is expensive to employ a qualified chef, but the pub has huge potential with it indoor and outdoor space to make a killing in the area, as decent places to eat are few and far between.

Wonderful location, amazing staff, super comfortable accomodation.
Pros: Clean, spacious room and bathroom with large modern shower. The food was great, and good value for money: breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The location was amazing, a couple of minutes from the railway station and fantastic walks from the door. However, it was the kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that was second to none. They were the icing on the cake.
Cons: Nothing.

Towels put back on the rack from the floor
Cons: The towels that were put on the floor by the door to be changed were put back on the rack. My conditioner left a distinctive mark that could not be mistaken. The towels were still wet and there was still hair on them, they had shaken and put back on the rack. I have never seen something so irresponsible and unhealthy in any stay and strongly recommend treating this place just as a shelter, if you have no other options, and taking your towels/bed sheets!
