Lovely staff, great food
Pros: Friendly staff and old world charm decor Cons: A little tired decoration wise
Pros: Stay was good with a lovely evening atmosphere Cons: No parking was a challenge
Pros: Stay was good with a lovely evening atmosphere Cons: No parking was a challenge. Stair carpet was very dirty
Nice place for an overnight stay in a quaint town
Pros: Excellent location for walkers doing the Thames Path. We were made to feel welcome, and the bar had some excellent beer. Our room was large with a comfortable bed, an efficient shower over the bath and everything we needed for an overnight stay. We ate in the pub in the evening, which was OK, but it was a hot evening and some lighter options would have gone down well. Cons: We would have liked breakfast, but knew in advance that this was not on offer, and were able to find somewhere close by easily enough. Internet connection not too good.
Pros: Perfect location for the Thames path. Really nice pub with its own brewery! Beautiful pub garden
Pros: Perfect location for the Thames path. Really nice pub with its own brewery! Beautiful pub garden. Friendly staff. Cricklade is pretty and has all you need in terms of shops and restaurants. Room was huge! Big bathroom too with a bath. Very nice furniture in the bedroom. Enormous bed. Well equipped. Very comfortable. Cons: When we arrived, staff were not aware of our booking, despite me phoning in advance to confirm arrival time. Luckily there was a room available and another member of staff stepped in to help and was very friendly. We didn't have to wait. Room smelled damp and had wind
