Elegant facility, attentive staff and a fun luxury weekend.
Pros: Classic Ritz elegance and service. Convenient D.C. location to spoil yourself for a bit. Cons: It’s a lux brand and a very nice facility but still feel like you wildly overpay for what you get .. $80 breakfast anybody?
Amazing service, beautiful hotel
10/10 stay for a weekend trip in DC. Service was top notch. We were there for my son’s birthday and the staff at the Ritz went above and beyond to make it special. We will definitely be returning!
In need of a major update
This Ritz Carlton is a staple in the West End. I have frequented this hotel for decades; however, it appears to not have had an update besides the restaurants. The rooms are quite dated and not fitting of the Ritz Carlton brand. The lounge is still popular but the furnishings are in need of replacement. Some of the seating is dirty, tattered and much too low for the average lounger. Despite the service, I will elect to stay at another Ritz Carlton in the future
Unforgettable experience at Ritz-Carlton hotel in Washington DC
We expected this hotel to exceed our expectations and that was exactly what happened. The location of the hotel is not very far from the museums places but is also 10 min walk from a metro station being more convenient for people that likes using the public transportation. The cleanliness of the room was great. Twice per day there was someone that came to check the room and to clean. Our room was with 2 queens bed and was pretty large for our need. We felt very comfortable when we were inside. The room had also an access to the lounge club. If I understood well the lounge is opened 24/7 bu

PRO: Service was top notch. For anniversary celebration and platinum elite status, they gave me quiet high floor room on courtyard side. Room service did give a nice anniversary dessert which was great and wonderful for pictures! For the amount I paid (discounted rate) it was great. I don't think the non-discounted price would be worth it. Stay overall was very comfortable, walking distance to subway (9 or 14 minutes depending on the line). Was able to use complimentary umbrellas to use around town. Separate tub and walk in shower was nice touch, and wife enjoyed the hot water and water
