Nice hotel, convenient location, staff not v friendly
Pros: Good location for my work , comfortable rooms with plenty of useful amenities. Great breakfast! Cons: This was my fifth visit due to work commitments and each time I have found the restaurant staff and check-in staff (sometimes the same person!) to be miserable and often snappy! In particular the host in the restaurant. (Not the breakfast ladies who are so lovely!) It has put me off having dinner there.
Great food and comfort in the Ascot area.
Pros: The food was excellent, a little more vegan choice would be better. The large double beds were very comfortable although some in our group had a superior room with a UK double bed which was too small for comfort. Overall would strongly recommend. Cons: Just do not use UK double bed as a size in hotels! Extra Large Double Beds are a must.
