The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Melbourne

This was my 3rd stay and I will probably choose this Hotel again primarily due to its location.

Pros: The convenience to Southern Cross Station and trams is hard to beat. Cons: The Bar doesn’t open till late in the day. So it’s difficult to even have a coffee and snack in the lounge area. Kettle in room was faulty. No phone in room to contact reception so had to make a mobile call. Breakfast was repetitive and it was not prompted that you could have eggs to order. Breakfast staff on some mornings not even polite or friendly.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Pros: Lovely room, beautiful hotel, comfy bed, really convenient location close to all types of public transport. My room was quiet. Staff were polite and helpful. Very happy with my stay here. Cons: Air conditioning in room was a little noisy so I had to turn it off to sleep. It was winter so no real issue in the colder months. Couldn't link to up to streaming on the TV, option was there but I couldn't get it to work..

Great location and the room was very comfortable.

Ok hotel, I would try another one if back

Pros: Excellent location right opposite the train station Cons: Quilt cover was not clean, no complimentary water in the room, bed are not made unless requested (which is a bit stupid considering how much you pay), they provide one toothbrush for a person only. Basin in the bathroom very small. We were expecting a bit better from the room

Great location if you have arrived on Sky bus and you don't want to drag your suitcases through the city.
