Great location in stone town, sone parts of hotel really lovely. Better staff training needed.

Pros: Great location, wonderful rooftop restaurant. Cons: Poor service. Staff on reception were unfriendly. Service at roof top restaurant unbelievably slow. One bar nan claimed they’d no spirits so couldn’t make cocktails but literally saw another staff member carrying done out minutes later. Dated tired decor in rooms.

Thanks to the staff who were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We really appreciated the complimentary massage offered as a honeymoon gift, and presented to us with a kind hand-written letter.
